Fascinating insights, and somewhat troubling as well. This is one of the many reasons why I wish Lucas had an actual outline, instead of every other year saying he had 6 stories in mind … no, wait, I had 9 … no, wait, it was 12 … yes, definitely 12.

I guess as a creator, that is how you craft a story (drafts, revisions, etc.), and we have the final product as canon.I certainly agree with Sham that the OG was better.

In reply to Sham. Yeah, we could've done without Yoda fighting in the prequels. In came across a bit cheesy. In the theater when I saw EPII, the whole audience burst out laughing and started heckling a bit.

Nice find. Most of the story line as it relates to Ben/Anakin has been known since prior to the prequels. We don’t need to even bring up the midichlorians. (I’m sure we all agree the OG story for that would’ve been better)

But what bothers me is the whole Yoda bit, WTF? Did they switch it up because he had built such a fan base in the years between the OT and the PT?

Like those are fighting words George.
