Everyone loves lists, right? Well I certainly do. So I’ll kick off sharing my favorite lists with some choice Star Wars music mashups I’ve come across over the last couple of years.

9) Grateful Dead

The famous dancing bears crossed over with Yoda, Chewie, a Stormtrooper, Boba Fett and Darth Vader. Who’s the more foolish? The fool who calls on you to toss your dreams away,or the fool who follows and goes astray?

Grateful Dead

8) Nirvana

The cover of Nevermind was originally intended to be a picture of an underwater birth. The floating naked baby photo turned in to one of the most eyeing catching album covers of all time. I’m so happy, ’cause today I found my friends. They’re in a galaxy far, far away.

7) Sex Pistols

God Save the Queen. How much would the British love a magnificent royal with such amazing fashion sense as Queen Amidala? And ironic that through her own political connections she inadvertantly helped Palpatine rise to Emperor of a Galactic Republic (fascist regime).

6) ACDC

There’s actually several Star Wars ACDC crossovers out there. This one makes me giggle the most.

5) Iron Maiden

For the Maiden fans, a rockin’ crossover.

4) John Lennon

A spoof of the iconic photo of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s nude embrace.

3) Pink Floyd

There are a few great Pink Floyd / Star Wars crossovers out there. This one is a particular favorite of mine. Wish you were the droid I’m looking for.

2) The Beatles

Arguably the Jedi of Rock & Roll, what’s cooler than the Beatles with lightsabers? Your argument is invalid.

1) KISS

My number one favorite Star Wars crossover is this rib tickling version of our favorite characters in the infamous KISS makeup.

If you have a crossover you’d like to share, tell us about it. Perhaps we can feature your top 10 picks as well.
